I'm just SO glad I no longer go to the meetings. Y'all gotta stop going. You really have. But I guess you have your reasons for going.

I used to think how complicated the Bible was and that I could only understand it by the WBT$ explanations of it. I did have some 'Duh?' moments where I said I'd 'wait on Jehovah'(TM).

Waiting on him was an utter waste of time. You can't wait for anything from an imaginary brand name made up by the WBT$. I now know the explanations in the literal-trash were the workings of deluded dimwits.

The GB will always take first place at the meetings either directly or implied. It's because they think they ARE god!

Lets see what the WTS states about teaching's not found in the bible ;) Example : Under heading Trinity

it gives this suggestion of what the publisher should say to the householder:

" What I believe is only what the bible teaches. Have you ever seen the word " trinity " in the bible ??? "____reasoning book page 426

Shouldn't they use this same standard for the " GOVERNING BODY " ?

Every time i don't go to the meeting now, I feel like I've won the lottery. I can't even decribe how happy I am to never have to listen to any more of that drivel. If I had to keep on pretending to believe in order to keep my family, I'd lose my mind.

wasblind - Well, mi' duck. I feel so sorry for those having to go to 'meetings'(TM) and suffer the 'mind cleansing'. I tell ya', I couldn't do it. Just hearing Mrs Punk blather on the phone to other JDubs about how 'encouraging'(TM) the 'meeting'(TM) was makes me want to shove knitting needles into my ears.

Terminal constipation is a better option to me!

It is interseting to hear their experiences I do have to say. It proves that the WBT$ is getting more 'cult' by the day. Hopefully it's blow up!
