The existence of God has nothing to do with this, actually. It is on the basis of Logic the Opening paragraph is founded.
It has everything to do with the existence of God. If i consider some writting to be sacred then i cetainly know it from a higher source. To the simple man the scriptures mean nothing, its seems more like superstition to him.

The writing in Timothy is not about itself. It is about scripture... holy writing... and there is no indicationt that Paul believed his letters to be scripture. So he wasn't saying 'what I write is trustworthy and true... trust me, because I'm telling you this, and I am trustworthy and true'. He is verifying... other writings. Scripture.

tec your argument does not address "all". All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

Yes, I get that, Nancy, and agree with it. All scripture is inspired... that is what makes it scripture. But that still begs the question of what writings are scripture? And what writings Paul was referring to when he wrote that. Not the bible in its entirety. That wasn't even compiled at the time.

The Whole as in "all scripture" means each part of the inspired word is linked together. To be "god breathed" means it is good to view it. It means a leveling up from knowing each part to how each part complements all the other parts. To see it can not be done under one's own power. That's why we have the helper. John 14: 16,17
Is it easy to view? No. John 14: 18-21
Anything that is not one dimensional has at least two sides. So the most intelligent of all humans can not see it without help. I think it's physics. I don't care much so I see that it is two sided, like a blanket.
But it has been revealed to me from that friend place (that I have) that it could have six viewing perspectives. A building has five. (A normal building). Four walls and an inside. But I imagine the Whole just for fun has six. Four walls and two insides. If your here and you never read the Bible (I hear it's common) the temple has had I mean two insides. The holy and the most holy. Goggle it.
So the wise one says "Nancy, would you change the "word of God"? Yes sir, I would.
