Scripture means "sacred writings" so it could be said that it isn't in reference to itself, but the general theological concept of scripture.
Old baseball cards came in a penny packet of bubble gum. The one's with Babe Ruth, too.
Their value was the penny.
Decades later something has transformed the value in people's mind to cause that penny baseball card to be worth THOUSANDS of dollars.
Was the original baseball card "holy" analogously?

I bought two little bowls that are cups in an antiques/junk/tools store. I remember reading that the swirly cloud motif means the china is old so I brought it to the appraiser. I brought one, I forgot I had two. I paid $8.00 for the pair. I realize that anyone can make a mistake so I take all the appraisals with a grain of salt.
This time the partner of the owner had a look and then confirmed it with the owner, so I know the appraisal is close to accurate.
Well, after I heard the cup is worth $200.00 - $300.00 dollars it somehow took on an air. It's prettier now. They are prettier now. After that I remembered I had two. Something else similar is two look better than one. Weird huh?
