Just because YOU say something is true, doesn't make it true of every American. Yes, SOME states in the US have capital punishment. SOME states have voted it out. The average American probably cares as much about Saudi Arabia as the average Norwegian does.

You never hear any talk from consumers about boycotting Saudi-Arabian oil until they clean up their act. The American and other western consumers couldn't care less about what insane brutal rulers do as long as they have plenty of gas to move their fat asses around in their cars. Moral, nope, understandable, yes, admirable, no. Ethic, nix.

I'm not saying that I agree with 100% of what my government does. Do you agree 100% with yours? However, being an AMERICAN, I don't like seeing America bashed anymore than you would like seeing NORWAY bashed. And if you don't understand that, then the JW's took away too many of your brain cells.

Well, from the reactions I get here I am starting to wonder if not quite a lot of you consider it very bad form to say anything you don’t like about the US.

What is it that I have said that is untrue? Do the US have capital punishment or not?

Do Americans know or care about what the Saudi’s do? Who has dealt with my “basic argument”? Mostly I see a lot of emotional stuff about “bashing”.

Well, I see that you are getting even more emotional, you are even strating to generalize about "average Norwegians". Where have I stated that every American endorse capital punishment? It is you who have made that assumption, don't blame me for that.

That said I am afraid that the average Norwegian know a lot more about the dealings of the Saudi's because the press report it and write about it here. You don't have to be sick about that Puppy, you see I don't know best, and Americans don't suck in my book, so again, I think you have to look to yourself. Why do you react so emotionally?

It is valid criticism puppy, not bashing. You are welcome to criticize Norway any day, I will not get emotional about it. Since you bring in brain cells and JW's, I find that this spitting and spluttering about "bashing" reminds me of what is happening to a JW when you criticize the WT Society.

I don't think you should read these postings, as long as you are unable to address the actual subject.
