I'm a little curious.. since you are the only JW in your family, why exactly are you trying to fade? Why not just extend a big "up yours" to them and get DF'd or DA'd? That way the cult is out of your life for good. It sure beats having to constantly look over your shoulder and sweating every time there's a knock at the door.. If you've been lurking here for a year, you know how stressful maintaining a fade can be..

How wonderful that your family are not JWs. You can enjoy the holidays with them, and take a deep breath of free air.
I don't know how successful your fade will be. They tend to shun if you aren't attending meetings.Embrace life, set some worthwhile goals, and go for them!
