I bet whoever came up with that never spent one day in college. Some of those things don't make any sense. Prayer is your attendance? What the hell does that even mean? And why is there a distinction made between a professor and instructor? Jehovah should be the president of the university, and Jesus should be the professor. Holy spirit is your protector? In college? Generally, you need a protector in K-12 for the bullies, but not in college. And in real college you work hard and earn a degree, but you cannot earn everlasting life. According to their textbook, it is because of God's grace, er undeserved kindness, that one can hope to obtain salvation. I dont remember any mottos in college either.

I remember hearing that crap from the podium. I hated back then how it provided support to those who chose to throw their life away by not educating themselves or getting decent employment because they can't take all the days off for an assembly.

As a presentation at a service meeting, a youngster told an elder that he would like to become a computer programmer. This affluent elder (whose daughter was attending college at that stage) presented the young man with an alternative solution. Why not go from house to house, and ask people whether he can respray and service their old microwaves ovens. That way he can contine pioneering and support himself.

It's usually the elders that have their education, have their income, are providing their children with an education that are 1st to poo poo education. I Know it happened to my SIL.
