Sorry, I live in Washington State, the worst state to live in for insurance for the self employed, or part timers. Ours was raised last year to $525 a month. We cancelled it and now just save the old premium every month, and just keep our fingers crossed that we don't get a serious illness or have an accident. We never do, but neither did Sharon. She had a great policy from work. Group insurance is good, but the rest of us don't stand a chance.

When I was a Pioneering house painter (oh how we used to envy the window washers--the cream of the crop of the self-employed dubs) my health insurance plan was: Don't fall off a ladder!
