Nancy, how do you explain vestigiality?

    Evolution

The Magic of Reality by Richard Dawkins is really more the speed for most folks without science background, IMO. I sure liked it and understood it better than some of the heavier books on the topic of science, myth, and reality (which includes evolution).

"And I'm an old lady which gives me license to be " Condescending and patronizing". Please!"

And I'm a man, which gives me license to tell a woman to "shut up!" -- 1 Tim. 2:11-14

"Life 101. Cause leads to effect. Proof. That is why science works! Because of the law of cause and effect."

So, what caused God? God is alive, isn't he? Didn't his life have to have a "cause", according to your "science law"?

What next? Are you going to start arguing that the fable of Noah's ark has been scientifically proven?

If you do not know how to read and comprehend, then I am done responding. You may say "shut up". I actually like shut up especially with the right accent and emphasize!

I said God is NOT IN TIME. Within. Inside. We are inside. Inside has laws of cause and effect. Outside is different. I don't know what they have there. Learn to read or shut up.

I said God is NOT IN TIME

How do you know such an amazing thing?

I've got Gen. 1: 26,27 to start with. You want to explain away something the Bible explains very clearly.

How about you? You got any scriptures to back up what you're saying?

    "I am done responding."

Are you someone that keeps your word?

I already answered that. Should I say it again? Why?

OK. The meaning of "GOD" is that which is not everything else. Space, substance, time and all other physical laws is everything. Everything except for ONE who is GOD. Therefore God is not (how to say it?) a part of everything which time is something of everything so God is on the outside of everything and therefore out side of time which really is some one thing of everything. Should I draw a picture? Oh believe me I can imagine it!

(Genesis 1:26-27) 26 And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.” 27 And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.

The Bible is very clear that man is made in God's image. There are no qualifications about time, space, and other metaphysical mumbo jumbo that God is completely different than mankind.

N.drew, your argument is not with me. Your argument is with the Bible. If you don't believe what the Bible states very clearly, then Rev. 22: 18, 19 is worth your consideration.

Halelujah! I get it at last. First you invent a word - "god" or spirit". Then you define your new word to mean whatever you wish to prove. The when anybody doubts the reality of your new concept you just refer them to your definition!

    Its called reism.

If God were in this mess with us He wouldn't be God now would He? He would have something else over Him and THAT would be God. So if Time was over everything, then TIME would be god. I know time is not God. Ask someone who knows about logic. Oh wait they are all atheists so they wouldn't know. Hm a problem for sure!
