@ EntirelyPossible "It's like saying that because I didn't choose to like chocolate I am doomed to end up blaming it for not also having mint in it. Ridiculous"

So what you're saying is we can fall in love for the things we do see and perceive... but it's the other unknowns that later come to light

that can kill your naturally occuring love ?

I chose with my head the first time............didn't go well.

Second time, I didn't get to choose...................but sooooo much better!!

I'm with the person I'm supposed to be with.

I am saying you fall in love with someone but you don't get to late blame them for not being something other than what they are.

No, but not because of the KH. It was more like that I would have liked to fall in love with a specific person but they did not find the idea attractive.

Not so much a matter or love in the KH than a desire to have a normal sex life. Since you can't have sex out of marriage, a lot of marriages in the Hall are based on a primal desire to have a sex life. I know several couples back in the old days who were clearly not meant for one another, yet they still got together because they simply didn't want to be single anymore and live like a spinster. For my part, I didn't want a JW wife because I knew that it would have been a hasty arrangement made to satisfy both of our natural desires. I also didn't want someone telling me what I should be doing in the "truth".

Ugh. Kh dating. Both my sisters did it. They never went on unchaperoned dates. They had to drag me or my brother along. And they both got married a year or less after dating. So I agree. about the hastiness, and wanting to get married and get away from your parents.
