What I always found fascinating about the African couples is that the same fabric is used for both the woman's and man's clothing.

The couple at our hall were always colour and fabric co-ordinated unless R had an assignment or was reading the WT. In his African attire he looked so smart compared to some of the other brothers in their creased and faded suits.

So why is it ok to wear national dress to the assembly/meetings but not on the platform? Does that mean women as a rule can wear trousers to the hall providing they change into a skirt when giving a talk.

    Let's review:

It's OK to play "dress-up" when the Society says so, but not when they don't.

Friends, let us quit indulging in "foolish questionings" and get back to reading our Bible-based publications and the ministry. We are deep in the Time of the End of the Overlapping-Generations! - Titus 3:9, Matthew 24:14; 24:45

Band On the Run.. you say that the 'British' were boring.. well, I have to say it's only us English that have no national costume as such (unless you count Morris dancers and Pearly Kings and Queens!) and yes.. we are totally boring... the Welsh, Irish and Scottish all have great ones.. :/
