It looks like there will be lots of emails for Mr. Chapman, and hopefully he will have a change of heart. Reading the passionate and heartfelt emails here that have been posted brings me great joy knowing that we all can work together towards a common goal.
Let's all hope that the emails move John Chapman to do the right thing!
I hope the news gets ahold of this and decides to run with it.

Here is my E-mail I sent to Chapman this morning :
Dear Mr. Chapman,
As a concerned citizen of the State of California I have been watching with much interest how the Australia courts are going to handle the child abuse lawsuits against the WT society in Australia. I have just been informed that you have decided to not pursue these cases as you state they are, " not in the public's best interests ". May I ask HOW you come to that conclusion ? I highly disagree and you are putting innocent child abuse victims at further risk by your NOT pursuing these molestation cases and flouting of child abuse reporting laws. Other churches ARE required to report in Australia - why aren't you requiring the WT society and Jehovah's Witnesses to do so ? Has there been some kind of a pay-off to you from the WT society to retract this lawsuit ? One can only assume as much. It certainly doesn't abide by your own countries laws.
Were you aware Mr. Chapman that in 2007 there were 16 Jehovah's Witness child abuse victims who were paid out 16 million $$$ in damages out of court by the WT society and a gag order was put on these victims to not speak out publicly about the abuse ? These children were sexually molested by elders in positions of power inside the congregations where they had access to Jehovah's Witness children. Also in the United States - Warren Jeffs a Mormon pastor was put into prison for sexually molesting minor aged children in his church compound. Other Catholic priests have been brought up on charges and prosecuted serving prison time as well. What ,akes you NOT see that the same atrocities are being committed by Jehovah's Witness leaders ?
Bottom line is this - Your dropping of this case is going to cause an outrage, not only against you personally for people saying you are NOT doing your job properly , but I hope the Australia news media gets a hold of this to inform the public that Australia courts are being either paid " hush money " or are very unjust in failing to prosecute child molesters. I would appreciate you replying to my E-mail as I have MANY Jehovah's Witness friends who have experienced being sexually molested as children in the religion. And justice cries out for the current Australia Witness children to receive fairness and protection. You are preventing them from getting that protection. I need a good reasonas to how you are justifying this . I hope to hear from you soon. Steven Unthank has many hundreds of thousands of supporters backing him up. Count me as one of those thousands .

Let's get our rear ends in gear and E-mail the $hit out of Chapman about the injustices happening ! The voices of many may have an effect. What have we got to lose ? If you need to E-mail anonymously, then E-mail anomynously - just E-mail any way you can . Does anybody in Australia have any information concerning which newspaper over there would print E-mails publicly without censorship.
