There is no archeological proof that solomons temple ever existed. Herods temple, which was finished in the first century bc is another story.

The reason I asked this question is that Jerome says he is an 18 year old who has a JW girl friend. This does not strike me as a topic that someone that young who is learning about the religion would seek out, even if it has been discussed.
His whole story just seems very peculiar to me.
