sizemik...I fail to see how you disagree. People do come here for facts. If they wanted lies they would stay in Watchtower world and live in ignorant bliss. (if you can actually call it bliss) People who come here are challenging those lies. And looking for answers, true answers. .
that website link above just adds more questions...once caught in a lie...it tends to unravel. I am sure the motives were good. But lies help nobody. And I suspect that is why the court case was so unsuccessful. Create doubt...end of subject.

Look, something is clearly fishy with Unthank. We have the sex claim clubs AND the clear lie about the picture. I don't care what he says he meant to be posting, his words clearly convey a meaning. Either he is stupid or a liar. The clarification reads a little like an apology letter from a rapist to his victim, "Yo, sorry that happened, guess you shouldn't have dressed like a slut". Blame the victim. That strategy, combined with the lie and credibility problems, further discredits Unthank. Stop digging.
Barbara has done great work in the past, for which she is to be much respected. Having said that, emotions are running high over this issue. Barbara clearly has a lot invested emotionally in this. It's understandable how she could not see what those of us with little emotional attachment can see clearly, namely that there are issues and questions that go directly to the credibility of Unthank. I think her judgement on this is comprimised due to the emotional attachement. Nothing more, nothing less.
Rick Fearon, basically, is an abusive attention whore that will try to beat down anyone that calls his repeated lies into the light or suggests his posters and signs and 4 people worldwide protests might, just might be able to be handled better. Rick doesn't deserve derision, he deserves to be ignored, to not get the attention he craves most.
