Which came first for you? Watchtower illegitimacy, or a compelling alternative?

LIFE is a compelling alternative to JW's.
Definitely the legitimacy was what I questioned. I lived through the dogma and its effect in my life.

My Dad was with the Witnesses for 5 years. Illigitimacy came first. As one of his bumper stickers read:
"After religion, try Jesus".

I suppose it would be considered a compelling alternative. Not a religious alternative but rather the nonreligion alternative. Reality seeped in gradually through research and study until the spell was finally broken to the point I could no longer selectively cling to the shreaded belief system I had once rabbidly defended.
