I type reports for work, but I'm not very fast. I do use all my fingers, but not correctly. I'm really good on an adding machine or a number pad. Sometimes when I'm in a real rush, I type without capital letters. Those really slow me down.
And no, I don't have a pecker but Just Ron does...

Our high school required us to take a typing class as an elective. I'm embarassed to say I won the award for fastest typist at the year-end school awards ceremony. 112wpm. A few years back, after getting laid off, I had to take a typing test at the unemployment office. Dropped down to the 90's. I'm probably sub-80 now, I don't type as much as i used to.
How often do you find that you're the last pecker on a thread?
I'm about 50wpm. I don't even look at the keyboard.
Yes, I am very fond of, and am a very big pecker. It's Okay though, I have been called worse. After all these years, I still can only hunt and peck. I still am able to type very quickly though.

If there was a contest for worst typest I would win hands down. I look, I peck, and it takes foreeeeeevvvvverrrrrrrr. But you folks make me want to talk to you. Sooooooo I type despite my handicap.
If I look at the keyboard---I can't find the keys I need! I totally have to type by touch, and looking just messes me up. I don't think 'a' far left in the middle row, I think, 'a' left pinky home keys.
