The only keys I can hit without looking are A, S, D, F, W, and O. But I'm pretty fluid when i type.

If I look at the keyboard---I can't find the keys I need! I totally have to type by touch, and looking just messes me up. I don't think 'a' far left in the middle row, I think, 'a' left pinky home keys.
Ya, looking slows me down and causes mistakes it seems. I anchor both index fingers on f and j coz of the "notches" myself. I had an ergonomic keyboard for awhile; that took some getting used to but was easier on the wrists fo sher.
I am glad I took typing as an option in high school, it's come in handy.

I sure am! And I am a master at one-handed typing when my other hand is busy multitasking.
