Clearly, you had no way of knowing exactly how this sister's husband would react to another man sending his wife emails, did you? The good thing is that you are alive, and he didn't just get out of Folsom State Prison here in California, having acquired clever ways after serving 20 years or so there to discard the bodies of men that he feels do not give to him the respect that he deserves.
JW's are DEFINITELY not drama queens. Nope, not even a little. 
Ugh, I have problems with almost all of them. If you don't fit their mold you're "defective" and thus deserving of being sneered at, shunned (even while still in and active) and gossiped about; all the while they are doing terrible things behind others backs.

Truth be known: You hit the nail on the head. I remember an elder telling me not to "make a big deal" over a sister shop lifting when were on break while in field service. "It would bring reproach on Jehovah". REALLY??? Well little Miss Sticky Fingers got rapped up in a check fraud ring several years ago involving not hundreds of dollars, not thousands of dollars but hundreds of thousands of dollars, and imagine this... she also got side ways in a drug sting as well. Last I heard she got 5 ot 25 and is still in prision. Now how is that for not bringing reproach on Jehovah???????
