    Hi JT,

Thanks for introducing this subject. Personally I don't believe the words God or Almighty accurately describe our maker, at this time. He is our Father but has not acted as God or Almighty yet.

It's like a gardener who after allowing all the seedlings to grow close together for a time, he comes in with his spade and culls. His first role was as a planter his second is as a remover. It is the same with the Father, he is acting as Father now but will act as God the Almighty later.

As for evil spirits, it would seem reasonable to think that their Father at some point acted as God towards them and removed them early on.

    Just my thoughts.

the questions that you raise are all good ones - the kicker is that most folks are not even allowed to ask such questions without getting dogged

    Hi JT,
This is actually my first post here. I pop in on this form once and awhile to read posts. And I must say I do enjoy your posts as well as many others here. Anyway regarding this thread and your class I just wanted to give you a link to a site I think you might enjoy. It provides an excellent resouce, veiwpoint and prospective from a philisophical stand point such as your interest. Hope it may be of use. http://www.webcom.com/~ctt/

What is the difference, if any, between 'causing evil' and allowing evil?
Someone who allows evil is evil?

"Why don't JT shut the Hell so we can get out of this class i wanted to see Friends tonight"

LOL, JT, I had to chuckle at that one because I notice the same thing in many of my classes. So many kids "naturally" go on to college right after graduating high school and view it quite a bit differently than the adults who go back later to expand their knowledge base and accomplish something more personal to them.

I think we value school even more because it was something we couldn't *really* participate in years ago, and now it is catch up time, big time.

    Hey James,

Maybe that explains a few things:-) I am surrounded by freethinkers.

They look for questions, not answers. And sages.

Glad you are having fun with the class.
