The last time was 70 AD That what the prohecies of The Messiah was all about in Matthew. The disciples wanted to know when he would return and he answered them "truly i tell you (the disciples not us) some of you standing here (those who were there listening)will not taste death until you see the son of man coming on the clouds in his Kingdom". Also that they would not finish going through all the cities of Israel before the son of man comes with his angels". It was a spiritual event that took place after the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. That was the generation that would see all things fulfilled. No other generation after that , how cna that be you say .The Messsiah told them (the disciples) there would be a great tribulation not seen since the worlds beginning not until NOW (the 1st century) nor will ever be seen again. The delusion of the churches for 2000 years has gone on and on always saying the end is coming, the end is coming. It came and went in the 1st century. The Kingdom is here spiritually it is no part of this world, the King rules. Now the excuse used by all churches and denominations is that what happened in the 1st century was a type, shadow of things ot come. As in the july watchtower. They finally acknowledge what preterists have bene saying..But there are no more types or shadows. All is done. The disciples and prophets of old received ther reward and were caught up. They serve in heaven with the King. What is left is citizenship of the Kingdom. It reigns in us, we enter into it spiritually, we will never die, there is no sickness or sorrow there.
