I donated blood for the first time last week! Turns out I am O+ which is the next most universal blood type after O-. Lots of wonderful information on the Canadian Blood Services website http://www.blood.ca/ .
I posted my experience last week under the title "One more thing of my bucket list", it was very emotional for me.
I encourage everyone to donate, what really got me was how many people you are helping even with one donation.
