Welcome to the forum.
Please do research now before committing to baptism. Look into the history of JWs. Then you will be able to make an informed choice.

Hi Jimmy.
Welcome to the forum
I'm currently an unbaptized publisher and third-generation JW
I was one of them for years.
I never properly investigated my family's church until I was in my fifties, had married and converted an Anglican girl and let her raise fourth generation JWs. Fortunately, I still hadn't gotten dunked, so I still have a stilted semblance of a relationship with my family, but I really wish I had done my homework when I was still living at home and then asking my parents for some honest answers instead of letting them get away with some of the insane logic they used to convince themselves, and me, that the WT really was run by the baby murdering Jehovah.
Cheers
Chris

Welcome Jimmy, glad to have you with us, and the posts above are full of good advice. We are here to help in any way we can, and to have fun !
When you get time, post some more of your thoughts and your story (without too much detail, don't make it obvious that you are really Jimmy Riddle {Cockney Ryming Slang})
I am glad you are sitting on the fence, as he who does that usually gets the point !

Welcome Jimmy
Good to know you are doing independant research prior to getting dunked. It will save you a lot of heartache later.

Hi Jimmy, welcome. I think you'll find all sorts here! I don't think any two are the same in their ideas or beliefs. However what we all have in common are the feelings that things in the organisation are not right. The best thing to do is to read. We should all have two sides to look at and not just one. Without two sides we cannot come to an accurate decision, especially if the rest of our life is goig to be based on that decision.
