Interesting you should say so. I have observed (but I might be off track with it) that people equate God with hope. If I am correct in assuming the mother of faith is hope, then making God equal to hope would be feminizing HIM, wouldn't it?

Yes, Snare, it is true. Your limitation is the bible... and a literal version of the bible at that. You even state it as god's word. But it is not. It is man's word, written about God, some inspired and some not. God's Word is Christ. He is Spirit and alive... paper and ink is not. That is nonsense to you, I know, but that doesn't make it untrue.

In any case, facts dispute an absolute literal rendering of the creation account in Genesis - and you can't know if that is how it was meant to be read. I'm quite certain that it is meant to be read in manner in which all people can understand... and not just the highly educated scientific minds.

My God is the Father of Christ. Anything that contradicts with the Truth and Image of God (Christ) is the ideas of men. The bible, Snare, is not the image of God.

This is all dependent upon how you define perfection. Maybe perfection is simply the ability to survive over countless millenia in an ever-changing, living, world and universe.

Maybe perfection is the physical AND the spritual together; no limitations.

It means you don't know enough about one or both topics to see the conflicts

If I want answers about God, Snare, then I will look to His Truth, His image: Christ.

I love the people here. I can speak of my faith here with others of like-mind, consider things that I had not before... and hopefully do the same for others. I have made friends, I can have adult conversation, and I can be around others of faith, if only in spirit (though 'only' seems silly in that sense; spirit is most important)

However, if I want to know about some world news, I'll look here... I always know what's going on in the world without ever turning on the news, lol.
