Blatant Contradiction in new Watchtower

The June 15th 2012 Study Watchtower, paragraph 6 on page 26 has this statement; "The Gospel writer Luke

“traced all things from the start with accuracy, to write them in logical order.” (Luke 1:3) God’s spirit ensured that human

imperfection did not taint his message". No lover of God's Word would dream of disputing Luke's spirit-inspired statement of fact, would they? Well, some would - but only because certain men who claim to be spirit-directed deceive them and actually denounce Luke's account. This is what the "inspired" Insight book says about Luke's claims; " Luke’s presentation of this incident evidently is not in strict chronological order". (it-p. 130 Judas) So the Watchtower writing committee is clearly conflicticting with the Insight Books writing committee. Who should we believe? Answer - What does the Bible really teach??????

  • wha happened?
    wha happened?

How is logical the same as chronological?

You can write out of chronological order and at same time not be out of logical order. The logical order refers only to the events and not to the time.

  • wha happened?
    wha happened?

yea I remember years back someone insisting it was the same, but the account wouldn't make sense if it was.

Buuut when you speak of time in a logical sense you must to show it in the chronological form, unless you are writing time travel fiction.

It's a contradiction yes, but just one more among several others.

    Sorry I don't see it.

What is "logical order"? It must be different than "chronological order", since Luke said something different than "chronological order".

I think the only two logical forms applied to time is forward or backward. A "flipflopward" it's not logical in any sense.

  • wha happened?
    wha happened?

can u give a basis for this? And even so, the account would not make sense if it were chronological, such as when John's arrest is mentioned. The word logical is rendered orderly in other translations. I still don't see that as chronological.

  • wha happened?
    wha happened?

how do u know it was applied to time? is that your assumption? Are u saying the events really did happen in that order?

When they speak of "logical order" I think the chronology are included (and it's forward of course).
