WTF Jesus doing last 98 years?

Hey, I left when I was 19 about 21 years ago over evolution. Dad encouraged me to look up the references in _Life: How did it get here? By creation or evolution?_. He should never have done that!

I see that the "generation of 1914" teaching was changed sometime around 1996

I think they still think that Jesus ascended to the throne in 1914 though.

So here's my question for JW's. WTF has Jesus been doing the last 98 years? Twiddling his thumbs? Jerking off?

I guess 100 years is only a tenth of a day for him (1000 years is like a day to God Jehovah presumably Jesus as well), so he's only "been in office" about 2.4 hours now.

Still, you'd think a supernatural being could do a lot in those 2.4 hours. Anyways, don't let the JW's get you down!

You could also ask the question what on earth are 144000 going to be doing during the 1000 year reign.

If God is the creator he can do anything in the blink of an eyelid. No need to have 144000 little helpers.

The Jesus in the Bible is dead. And he has been dead since 33 CE. No resurrection for that Jesus--and no, he didn't die to offer a ransom sacrifice. Instead, either he never existed at all, or he was merely a Jew that renounced the religion, turned apostate, and did all he could to undermine Judaism before he was murdered. His stories were nothing more than an embellished rendering of miracles and divine attributes. You can find similar embellishments at your a$$emblies.

The real Jesus, the sun, has been shining on and off since the beginning of the solar system. Jesus comes up in the morning (though sometimes you don't see him because the clouds are in the way, and in some latitudes he never makes it above the horizon during winter and is always up during summer), and goes down in the west during the evening. And he dies on the cross every year on December 22, staying there 3 days, and is reborn on December 25 with three kings (stars in Orion) and the Star of Bethlehem (Sirius) pointing to him on that day.
