One major problem with updating the Proclaimers book is simply what would they say? The whole of the Proclaimers book was about expansion, new branches, more publications, Gilead, onwards and upwards. Would the updated version document branch closures, as well as cutbacks on meetings, Gilead, and smaller print output. Hardly an inspiring story.

I gave up on bound volumes when they went paperback. What's the point?

Well, the proclaimers book left off in 1992.

There was some expansion since then, especially in the updating and modernizing of the various printing branches.

I liked the bvs because it made it easy to find certain issues or articles.

Maybe the Virgins are running out of oil?

They certainly seem to have fallen asleep to current world events that fullfill Bible prophesy more than thier dreams of 1914 and 1919 from which they need to wake up from.

I occasionally speak to an active JW at work, I ask him to let me know when and if the Organisation ever prints anything about World Government or use the term "New World Order". They claim to be "on the watch, and "Awake", yet every Tom Dick and Harry who doesnt even belive in God can see the fullfillment of Revelation whereas those who have asigned themselves the lofty position of the Watchers, seem to have fallen asleep up in thier tower.

No wonder they cannot think of what to write, except for recounting thier dreams of when they where awake.
