I know a BOE letter just came through approving use of electronic devices (Ipads) at meetings for the WT, Bible, CD-Rom. Anyone care to post the original letter?

6 months ago our substitute CO was reading his talk outlines off an iPad from the platform... I just figured they were always OK.

I mentally inserted "wear" to the title so it read " I wear Pads to the Meetings" . Thought it was a lady thread or maybe a depends thread.

People have posted on JWN that they have used a notebook/laptop at the meeting/convention without repercussions. The fact that a CO used one on the platform is very strong, convincing evidence to me that others can do the same. Even if a letter was read, the rank and file never get a look. Even if there is one and it is posted here, using it as proof to a jw would put that person's jw status in question.
jws bring their cellphones to the meeting all the time (and forget to turn them off) and no one has been kicked out that I know of.

I saw an attendant use one through a DC in 2010. Thought it made sense. I guess there goes having to underlining your lesson. LOTS of people will be glad at that.

Yeah blondie, I like all the stuff they call BRAZEN so that would be a bad idea!
Unless I can get one of those privacy screen protectors.....
