What would you do guys?
It's all risk vs reward at this point. You seem to have an emotional attachment to the memorial as most witnesses do. Going to something just because it makes you feel better for the night isn't a bad reason to do something. However, going to a memorial puts you into the "went to memorial" JW category whether you like it or not. So, it's really all just risk vs reward based on your specific circumstance.

Guess I should have read that. It's early on the west coast for me. Another thing to think about is if you have resolved to give it up entirely. Giving up a religion is often like giving up on any vice. If you have identified it as harmful to your life then it may be best to stay away from it entirely. At least until you have your emotions about it under control.
