    Heaven:

I have posted this before but it looks like this Scripturally literate person has missed it during his studies.

I haven't missed any such thing. Over the years I have discussed that verse many times and have shown how it doesn't apply to Jehovah's Witnesses in the Christian era. Applying that verse to The Watchtower is actually a page out of Ray Franz's Apostasy 101. Besides, most apostates don't accept the Bible anyway, so quoting it as an authority when it's convenient to condemn us is hypocritical. /You Know

I do accept the Bible as potentially God's word, so do other's here, so you have no right to say that. What you just said is called stereotyping.

Here, since you must struggle with big words, here is the definition of stereotype.
A conventional, formulaic, and oversimplified conception, opinion, or image.

Here is a formula to describe stereotyping and it's evil companion racism.

    You Know:

Ever since I got online in 1997, you've been calling for the immediate end of the world.

Don't you ever get tired of making idiot blunders and backing paranoid doomsday scenarios that never play out?

Please tell us again why the railways were running a skeleton operation on January 01, 2000. It was so lame, such a perfect You Know moment. (You still owe me thirty articles of clothing, you serial welcher.)

    Let's renew the bet.

If at this time next year, the internet is still up, Wall Street is still opening its marketplace and the Watchtower magazine is still being published then you owe your local Red Cross $5000.00 and a donation of blood.

Do you believe your own rants enough to take this bet? I doubt it.

    YK,
    I'm glad you post here.
You do such a fine job of showing us true blue JW delusionalism.
You sure your not the son of J. F. Rutherford?
    You think just like him.

If someone lived a trillion X longer than you, and had a billion X more reasoning ability would he come to the same conclusions as you?

: The impotence of apostate reasonings in the face of God's word has always been a source of encouragement for me. This thread is no exception.

    You know:

That is where you and I are different.
I DO accept God and his word the bible as my authority. Actually sitting down and reading it, made me notice how the W.T.S had twisted it and misrepresented its contents. I do NOT however accept an organization as my authority because this wouldnt be scriptural.
By the way, the "new world" translation is not one that I accept due to the alterations that the W.T.S has made to the bible to support their false teachings.

Anyway, It is not that difficult to understand. If an organization makes false prophecies, they are not Jehovahs organization. God does not lie. The bible helps us identify false prophets.

We do not need an organization.
John 14:16 "No one comes to the father but through me, Jesus Christ"
John 14:1 Jesus said "excersize faith in God and me". No mention of an organization.
We all stand alone before God to be judged, not as an organization.
    Read, Romans 14:4,10-12.

I pray for you and all misguided witnesses to know the truth. The society is using you and others like you to make their organization
    grow.

YOU KNOW - It's interesting to note that your statements can be claimed by several religions as 'proof' of their religion's 'truth' ... they too will say they have apostates who fight against the 'truth'. They too have adherants that adamently believe and fight for 'The Truth', because of their understanding of the scriptures. The difference is your knowledge of other Christian religions is so limited by restrictions placed on you by WTS for examining what others believe, that you will always have a biased, narrow view provided by limited information. You can never honestly say what you believe is true unless you have throughly examined everything you can...but that will never happen, will it. What if some other religion knocked on your door, before the JW's...convinced you of the 'truth'. You would be using the very same scriptures to prove you are right and others, include WTS are false.

You Know, I have been reading your posts for about two years. I have only been posting for about 7 or 8 months, and I have a bet for you.

If at this time next year, the internet is still up, Wall Street is still opening its marketplace and the United States still exists, then you must admit that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society claimed to be God's chosen prophet.

If these things cease to exist, then I will admit that the Society and you were right.

    Do we have a deal?

    jayhawk,

I must state that you are peeing against a gale. I've known YK for nearly five years and he is the undisputed King of false prophecy and wishing for things to be the way they are not. His (former?) masters in Brooklyn only eclipse him because they've been making a record of 100% false prophecy for nearly 130 years.

YK is a newbie in the false prophecy department, but he's just as clueless as his teachers.

He has claimed the "end" or "nearly the end" for at least four years now. I liked him better before he decided to glorify himself and did nothing more than quote scripture without much comment.

He prophecies everything and admits to nothing. Once in a while, he shows his humanity: THAT is the You Know that I've come to love, and I'll be the first to admit it. He just doesn't get that some of us accept him just like he is and not because he loves to start threads in all caps (shouting: "read ME!") and attempts to draw so much attention to himself.

To YK: your "gift" to me has been circulated in several states and has helped lots of people. Thank you for that gift.

I'm back up in your neighborhood now, and have friends in your area. We should do lunch. I actually think we'd get along just fine. What say ye?
