I'm a bit biased because I was jailed in 1981 for a crime I didn't commit. I was pardoned about 20 years later, but that didn't undo the damaged caused. It certainly didn't elevate my respect for "authority".

I have to say that I would rather set the guilty one free instead of jailing an innocent person. If the guilty one is set free the friends and family of the victim can then have a run at him....LOL
