    HAPPINESS FOR THE HOLY ONES
24 Jehovah's angel concludes his prophecy regarding the holy ones with these words: "Happy is the one who is keeping in expectation and who arrives at the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days!" (Daniel 12:12) The angel gives no clues as to when this period begins or ends. History suggests that it simply follows on the heels of the preceding period. In that case it would run from the autumn of 1922 to the late spring of 1926 (Northern Hemisphere). Did the holy ones come to a state of happiness by the end of that period? Yes, in important spiritual ways.

Notice the accuracy - from the autumn of 1922 to the late spring of 1926 (Northern Hemisphere).

*** dp chap. 17 pp. 304-305 par. 28 Identifying True Worshipers in the Time of the End ***
28 With all these prophetic marks to identify "the holy ones of the Supreme One," what excuse can there be for failure to recognize them and associate with them? Wonderful blessings await the great crowd, who join this dwindling anointed class in serving Jehovah.

Revised to say - This expanding anointed class, LOL

Good grief you've just read some bullshit lying propaganda from a commercialized false prophet. ( The Watchtower Corporation )

Wake up and smell the coffee

God ( Yahweh and Jesus ) have nothing to do with this recognized false prophet !

The GB are just lying corrupt executives of a bogus religious publishing house ( WTS. )

This book is so full of baloney.....reading on from the quotes in therevealer's post :

" Did the holy ones come to a state of happiness by the end of that period? Yes, in important spiritual ways.

25 Even after the convention in 1922 (shown on page 302), some of God’s holy ones were still looking longingly to the past. The basic study material for their meetings was still the Bible and the volumes of Studies in the Scriptures, by C. T. Russell. At that time, there was a widely held view that pointed to 1925 as the year for the resurrection to begin and for Paradise to be restored to the earth. Thus, many were serving with a fixed date in mind. Some proudly refused to share in the work of preaching to the public. This was not a happy state of affairs.

Why was that? did not the Watchtower Society actively promote this belief?

Watchtower. 1922 November 1 (courtesy of Watchtower quotes website)

"We understand that the jubilee type began to count in 1575 B.C.; and the 3,500 year period embracing the type must end in 1925.. It follows, then, that the year 1925 will mark the beginning of the restoration of all things lost by Adam's disobedience."

With all this accuracy and honesty "what excuse can there be for failure to recognize them and associate with them?" as the OP quoted from Daniel's Prophecy book???

To be honest, even as a regular Witness, I took all of this stuff about prophetic days relating to the Society with a big pinch of salt

@ The Revealer - Are you saying that they revised that line in the book in recent printings to say "expanding anointed class"?

--I hope you are just making a joke.

@ The True One - Wow bro you are about to bust a vessel- if I knew you I would spring for a massage for you lol...although I can't argue with what you said

@thetrueone - Relax. Did you not notice the LOL? I just get a huge chuckle when I see stuff that I could have been influenced by and wasn't. Helps to understand why the ones still in buy bullshite like the overlapping generation, etc. It just has to be "them" at fault for not getting it. Can't be the holy GB for handing out the bull as new light to hide the former light that was garbage.

RayPublisher - Sorry about the way that formatted. I was trying to make fun of them. They just put/have put their foot in their mouth so often. As some have said it is probably one reason for smaller mags. Less pages to fill with shite that can come back to bite them.

So the point I was highlighting is that they would have to revise that if they could.

Also my use of Notice the accuracy was facetious. Not satisfied with a general time period they want to narrow it down to impress. Right down to noting that it is the Northern Hemisphere. IDIOTS.

The body of the thread comes off in its entirety of one of approval rather than being satrical.... until the very last sentence where you put the

    LOL at the end.

When people read this they are assuming that your an apologist for the JWS/WTS even if they don't get to read right to its very end.

Take a look at some maligning self supporting propaganda from Daniel's Prophesy book, might have been a better thread topic

Is this a new light or is there a new Daniel book?

I though the teaching was that the scripture at the end of Daniel describing the climax , the happiest event that will ever happen to the faithfull, nothing more woderfull was even worthy of being recorded in Daniel was........................ the 1922 Cedar Point convention!

Wow, nothings ever going to compare to that, even when Jesus is actually seen in person and leads his people into paradise, it will still be as nothing compared to that Convention!

Yeah right, more like they had applied the previous scriptures to themselves being imprisoned and then Chosen as the FDS, so they couldnt think of anything better to fit into thier false timeline.
