Well, it sounds like fun was had by all. ;-)
Speaking of being late... when I still lived at my mom's house... I was about 21 or so. I had just recently gotten my driver's license. I usually drove my two younger brothers to the hall, just so we could get there on time - which meant arriving about 30 minutes early so that we could do the things that we had been assigned (or goof off... whichever came first).
Anyway, the congregation grew too large, and they decided to split it up, making two congregations. I wasn't going to the new congregation, but talked to one of the fellas in charge, and he said that I could be put into the new congregation being set up.
When my mom and siblings heard the news, they just about had a cow. My older sister even drove me to a parking lot and had a talk with me where she read me the riot act. She pretty much told me that I couldn't go, as I was the one who was getting my younger brothers to the kh on time.
Yeah... none of the ladies of the family could get it together quick enough to get to the kh on time, and usually walked in during the song.
It was soon after that that I left home, and they had to figure out how to get my brothers there 'on time' without me. heh heh heh
