i can't see how the horse owners' lawsuit would succeed.. if the horse was in any position to be hit by a car, I can only see that being the fault of the owner..

@slimboyfat the 1975 message telling Witnesses to ignore all personal issues and financial liabilities because the end is so close, no one's going to have time to ask you about it. The current doctrine of "ignore higher education and a successful job because the end is so damn close" (June Watchtower, I believe) is highly reflective of the 1975 propaganda. She's ignoring her legal responsibilities because she believes the end will be here before the case is decided.

I don't know what the laws are regarding sharing the road with a horse. I know my friend almost took a horse and it's rider out when we were driving down the road at night and we spotted the horse. We slowed way down and as we started to pass, the horse bucked almost throwing the rider and the horse almost jumped in front of the car. Had my friend hit the horse, I have no idea who would have been in fault.
I doubt that news of the additional accident influenced the attorney as the other accident has no bearing on their case. But she will find out how much time she will really have when she receives service
