Brother Prince, you were raised in a dangerous mind-control cult. That means that your thinking cannot be trusted. You have been influenced to assume the best intentions whenever examining Watchtower Corp. The JW's in your life are victims the same way and automatically defend WT.
It would be great to have grand answers to grand questions all wrapped up for you. But the answers take a bit of work. Before you go back to Jehovah of the JW's, do yourself the following favor:
Read CRISIS OF CONSCIENCE,CAPTIVES OF A CONCEPT, COMBATTING CULT MIND CONTROL.
Just google or amazon search them. Nobody will answer your questions better than your own informed self.

BP: I want a strong relationship with Jehovah, but do not want to be apart of an organization that is not what they say they are.
Yes, go with that and see where it leads you!
Welcome to the rest/best of your life.

Morbidzbaby, LOVED your illustration that, as the "light" brightens, a stuffed toy bunny would remain a stuffed toy bunny and not turn into an "elephant" or a "dinosaur"...

Sometimes when people leave through difficulty to keep to JW rules they do not fully realise the issues surrounding the religion. This is perfectly understandable but it means that you have a duty to educate yourself on the religion you were brought up in. Not just the religion but on how your life was different from a normal family and normal personal development. You still see the gloss and shine but actually it is not normal for parents to put loyalty to an organisation above love for their child. It is not normal for a family to be unable to speak to one another about different beliefs and opinions. It is not normal for you to be concerned about being "found out" by religious leaders nor to be unable to question things that concern you.
Witnesses are not following God they follow an organisation's rules. The trouble is you were brought up in a high control group and you need to learn firstly how to trust yourself and how to make decisions based on your evaluation of the world.

Thanks, Zid... I thought of that one for my mom because it's pretty easy to get the point... The cogs in her brain turned for all of 5 seconds before she said " I don't wanna talk about this anymore".

Any advice or anything would help, thanks.
to this day there is no religion I feel strives to serve Jah correctly as much as JWs
That isn't true, actually. Maybe research this for yourself.
I feel like this system has a very limited time, things can only get so much more worse.
This is a feeling, not a fact. Please do your own research and come to your own conclusion. There is/are less crime, hunger, violence, wars, and severe earthquakes now.
Over the past 3-4 years, I have gotten plenty of time to examine the WORLD and the people in it. My belief that Jehovah is the only way has strengthened.
Research "confirmation bias". While you're at it, research other logical errors--usually helpful for jws, and pretty much everyone.
if JWs are not Gods people, who is?
How do you know anyone is?
If you do not believe that learning about Jehovah and preaching to the masses is not the correct way to live life? What is?
Correct according to who, though?
I want a strong relationship with Jehovah, but do not want to be apart of an organization that is not what they say they are.All you need to do is some research to see if the jw organization is what it says it is. This information is readily available. Research Nazi conciliation, Miracle Wheat, the generation change, the many false end-of-the-world predictions (yes, predictions) dating back to the 1800s, how the wts lied to hemophiliacs, etc.I saw somewhere on the forum someone posted about JWs not being the only religion that preaches, who else preaches?
Many others--find the facts for yourself so you don't feel we are misleading you.

You might want to start by trusting yourself only. That means stop trusting the bible, which purports to be inspired by god, but provides no evidence whatsoever that it actually was inspired by god. Moreoever, a look at the bible reveals that god was created in man's image, and not the other way around.
Don't just free yourself from the JW cult. Free yourself from all religious thought. There is no true religion; they are all false.

Become a mature person. Trust no one but yourself. Leave it to Jehovah to judge who is right and who is wrong. I am not going to say more. Previous members have covered everything.
