I am so proud of you, I hope that doesn't sound condescending. It takes real courage to admit, we were on the wrong path, real courage to seek out the one that is right for. Teary actually, I am happy for you. Wish you the best.

I recommend listening to some judicial committees, before you go. You will have an idea what is in store.

Dear sister…please give yourself more time to reevaluate this. This can only end up one way and you have no idea how intense and never-ending the pain of being shunned is. You might know it in theory. I, and others here, know this pain in reality. Please do not jump off the battlement. "You must not put Jehovah your God to the test."

If you get expelled for "apostasy"…how would you ever be able to undo that? You would be burning a bridge that could never be rebuilt. Nor would you ever be able to explain to your loved ones among the Witnesses after that, because afterwards, as someone on JWN quaintly put it--you would only be talking to the back of their heads.

If you fade, you will have more of a chance to quietly share points that make your loved ones think. Perhaps if you are subtle, you will be able to help some. If you leave like this, you will help nobody.

Why not come over to JWStruggle, join the forum, and talk to us fellow believers in Christ?

Well in that case, do what you feel is right. Godspeed (since you believe in all that)

If this will give you peace of mind, then by all means do so. However i will say that once in a while i see an instance like this one, where a "still" active witness will take the "headstrong" approach and confront the elders or the organization about all the wrongs and inconsistencies in the Org - as if they will be the ones who will make the house of cards fall. Inevitably, they realize that they are not the first ones who have tried to change the world. As said here already, the elders will summarily dismiss your points and arguments right from the start. I remember one of my friends who, when called to a JC about apostasy, showed up with all sorts of materials and notes thinking he would surely prove his point. He was instead told they were not there to debate on the beliefs of the Watchtower, but instead were there only to determine if he either believed in the truth as taught by the Watchtower or not. As soon as they determined he didn't, they took a break, then informed him he was DFed.

well for me ,i dont want to change any thing....i simply want answers...if i cant get that then....whatever....i don't care to stay if it's all lies....if they --THE ELDERS-cant make sense of this religion then it makes no sense continuing

You aren't going to get any answers. No amount of righteous indignation will accomplish anything. They are brainwashed cult members once they identify any questions as "apostasy" you're toast and they will not either ANSWER or LISTEN to anything you have to say. You'll be labeled with the thought-stopping "Apostacy" label and you will be dead to them.
