About 15 years ago I met a lady in hospital that had mental problems, hearing voices etc. A couple of weeks later she drowned her two young sons in the bath. Very sad.

According to the Telegraph I think it was her parents who were the JWs....

Mrs McRae added that Mrs Boots had previously been married to a fellow Jehovah's Witness. She said the pair wed shortly after she graduated from General Wolfe high school (now called White Oaks) in Oakville and that she had opened a high street hairdressing business.
But the marriage failed after a few years apparently because her husband left the church. Later Mrs Boots also denounced the religion saying she did not want her children to be brought up in the church.
Her brother too broke away from the church and was in sporadic contact with their parents. The McRaes said that he had been dead for three days before his parents discovered.

I started a thread about this last night...was wondering if anyone knew the families involved. The parents, Dave and Debbie Sinclair, of Ontario, are still jws. Their son, Scott left the cult and killed himself. Their daughter, Felicia, who moved to London with her new husband, is the one who killed her babies. Her first mariage ended after her husband also left the cult. It doesn't say if they are jws.

I think this link makes it clear that the mother, and her brother who killed himself, were JW's.
So sad.
