I too agree. I think it is time to abolish the death penalty. Life in prison would be better.

The hard core Right Wing Evangelicals who are taking over believe it is their god-given right to execute humans. Why couldn't Gov. Perry pick up the phone and halt the execution, the answer to that is the real issue.
