Hey I'd be interested to know which article suggested Adam had male/female in him! Androgyny! wow. That would give me lots of ammo when discussing the female aspects of God.
Did adam have nipples or a belly button?

and yup! it's androgyny alright!!! can't say the WTS was not progressive in those days... then along came the GB and spoiled it all!

I've heard that if you loose a rib,it will grow back. I'm not 100% sure if it's true or not but I've heard many a JW use this to explain the rib situation. They explain that Adam didn't go without the rib, it grew back.
I never thought about the belly button before, it seems logical that they wouldn't have any... that's interesting because I could almost swear that I've seen the society publish pictures of Adam and Eve with belly buttons. I could be wrong, though.

Women and men both have the same number of ribs. Assuming the story of Adam is true, then it wouldn't make sense for Adam to have had a belly button. Why would you wonder if he had nipples? Why wouldn't he? Nipples have never really served any purpose for a man except for decor (stimuli perhaps)...or at least none of which I know. Does anyone else know? Have men ever breastfed??? Does anyone know of any biblical accounts where men were breast feeding? How about historical?... A more appropriate question would be, why do men have nipples anyway?? Does anyone know?
Anyways, those are just my opinions...and you know what they say about opinions...sadie
