    Interesting perspectives, all.

Richard Thomas was mesmerizing as John-Boy.

So responsible, so sensitive, so full of integrity ...

Speaking of Richard Thomas, did you see the movie he made at that time with Desi Arnaz, Jr. "Red Sky at Morning"? It's well worth watching. A beautiful and poignant tale.

    I LOVED the Waltons!

And Little House on the Prairie.

    And Hey Jeannie!

And...does anyone else remember this?...I've never met anyone who does...I Married Joan. I was really small when that was on and we hadn't had a TV set for very long. I remember, I loved it so much that I used to hope and hope that I wouldn't die bedfore the next episode. Can you imagine?!

    Yup, Grizzly Adams.

Kit Carson, Hopalong Cassidy, Tex Ritter, Champion the Wonder Horse, Circus Boy...but the Waltons were special.

Grandma was stern and Victorian in her thinking.

    Grandpa was just the opposite.

    They were a trip!
