    All I can say is WOW! I appreciate the many comments and insights especially from those close to the case. I found it ironic that just last night I was read the Question Box in the June KM and was so disgusted by the language. It was their regular “peddling for funds” but this time they went too far. Notice the language they use in the opening question;

    What should be kept in mind if we want some or all of our assets to go to Jehovah’s Organization upon our death?

    Now they want your ENTIRE ESTATE! Screw your children/grandchildren inheritance…gimmee, gimmee, gimmee! What a savage request to pretty much guilt these ones to bequeath their entire estate to this ridiculous organization. It got me thinking today that perhaps this was well thought out and planned as this case along with perhaps many others are going on and the WT needs these resources to keep afloat, should all these lawsuits keep coming. Read the article for yourself and draw your own conclusion.

    I know a sister who went to the Fremont Cong. a few years back. She saw a pedo's name on Meagan's list and told the elders there was one in their Hall.

    They already new and told her if she told any one, they would take 'action' against her!

    I'm not sure if it is the same one. I'm trying to find out now. They are very guilty on so many levels.

    One question that I would have is - Does the WTBTS own the Kingdom Hall that is being sued? (North Congregation - Freemont, CA) If they do, then that would be a tie-in directly to the WTBTS, I would think. (Although, I'm no lawyer.)

    It would also seem that there would be some liability to the owner (WTBTS) for anything that goes on - on their property.

    Anyway... the outcome of this case is great, so far!

    Regards,

    Sir82: I doubt there any such thing as "oops, we accidentally covered up a few thousand pedophile cases" insurance.

    Yes, lawyers and doctors carry malpractice insurance, but religions don't because they are from God don'tcha know!

    Imagine if the WTBTS did have something like "malpractice" insurance. Submitting a claim would be explicit acknowledgement that they don't know what the fuck they are doing!

    I wish.

    Millions now living will never die ... but if you do, make sure to include the WTBTS in your will.

    My ex business partner is an attorney. We still talk as we've been friends, and he's representing me on a case right now. I'll ask his opinion on this
