They have howler monkeys.

They are very loud.

They will wake up up very early in the morning.

I was there as a stop on a cruise. We docked at Belize. It's a very poor country, the poorest in the America's. However the place is beautiful as soon as u leave the city. We did an excursion up the rivers. It's amazing. We also saw Mayan ruins while we walked about for a few hours.

Don't expect any sort of night life. There is one Casino in the city of Belize, and I understand crime is pretty bad there in the city.

If you go into the jungle the bugs are gargantuan - at night the spiders are horrifying! D: Or neat if you like insects.

They are so big they don't look real.

I was only there during the day. Not alot of bugs, but lots of cool lizards and such. The humidity is so high that cactus grow on rocks, or they wind around trees like snakes.

They called them snake cactus, according to the person steering the boat.
