These letters go beyond nutty. They are insane on so many levels. I hope MANY MORE victims come forward.

I truly want to vomit. Note that everyone's obligations revolves around their activity within Jehovah's Witnesses. A sexually abused teenager likes boys! Stop the presses! I can fully see why a jury assessed punitive damages. The Society had NO concern for the victims or danger to others. Caressing a step daughter's breast is not momentary, fleeting behavior.
They make it sound as though he were helping her to get dressed and she needed help buttoning her shirt. Give me a break.
I bet no one at Bethel feels any responsibility. The elders' letter is not neutral.

Thanks for posting the letters. I think it would have been a good idea to edit out the names of the victem, her friend, and Kendricks wife's name for privacy's sake though.
