  I have a relative coming over because he's concerned about my spiritual health. I said I have some legitimate concerns about the Watchtower claiming to be God's representative on earth. We agreed to do a frank and open (if that's even possible) study of 1914 doctrine, and the "nu lite" about the overlapping generations.

  Does anyone have good questions or points to shoot-down the 1914 doctrine, and the "nu lite" on overlapping generations? I don't want to get this person too off-side, but at the same time, I also won't be "agreeing" with JW 1914 doctrine.

  On page 97 in the Reasoning book, the WTS has attempted to do what Jesus said they couldn't

  on that page they have a chart that " CALCULATES THE SEVEN TIMES"

  This chart includes the times and the season

  What is the Prediction of the WTS according to their MIScalculation ??????

  " Before the last members of the generation that was alive in 1914 will have passed off the scene, all the things foretold will occur, including the " Great tribulation " in which the present wicked world will end."________Reasoning book page 97

  You will find that prophecy also on pages 200, 234, and 239

  " The "generation" that was alive at the beginning of fulfillment of the sign in 1914 is now well along in years. The time remaining must be very short."_____Reasoning book page 239

  The WTS is clearly refering to that one and only generation that was ALIVE at the start in 1914

  they took that promise back and gave it too a younger overlappin' generation, they lied to the old folk

  Yes, they lied about 1975, but their is an army of Reasoning form the Scriptures books out there. use 'em

  One more thing on page 133 in the Reasoning book they claim to qualify as " true" prophets

  Yes, the WTS is saying that this Mis calculation is from God, Does the False prophet Hananiah ring a bell

  When pointing out the Generation that was " ALIVE " at the begining of the fulfillment

  Jehovah's Witnesses will say

  " There are still people alive who were around in 1914 , And some live to be 120 "

  You must remind them that accordin' the the WTS , If you ain't a Jo Ho you gotz ta go

  That prophecy ain't talkin' bout everyone who is 100 or more. they're only talkin' bout JW's of that age

  Anybody got folks 100 and older in their congs, keep your eye open, if they die it could be the end

  Just in case, continue to pay your Electric bill, cuz the Light dispensed by the WTS ain't reliable

  Cover of the 1984 Awake (think it's a May 15 one). Got pics of 70 &80 year olds and title said they wouldn't die before the end.. that was nearly 30 years ago.....
