  I know that after I got pissed off at the WT in 95 lots of little things I had pushed to the back of my mind for years suddenly became important.

  No one here has noticed yet, but she kept trying to assert that she was an independent thinker, but when she supposedly went to the sites you mentioned, she labeled you an apostate and said your stand on blood was no longer well founded.

  The significance being that once you were labeled an apostate, your stand immediately lost any levity. Strange that an independent thinker, suddenly refuses to acknowledge you because you are what the governing body tells her is wrong. That you have merit until you visit certain websites that she, for some reason, can't find anything agreeable,

  If she continues the debate, you should point out how independent and uncontrollable she really is. You don't want others reading and thinking her argument is a legitimate argument formed by free thought when it isn't.

  leavingwt: I recall reading a comment that 'Vinny' made beneath an article on MSNBC.com regarding the JWs helping repair homes in New Orleans, after Hurricane Katrina. I was still a JW and his words affected me. (That article its comments can be found here: Jehovah's Roofing Service )

  I decided to read the comments in that article, you can totally notice most of them if not all were dubs. And just with how they talk I was getting flashbacks of the religion... I think I'm gonna be sick.

  Yes, the WT has forced a way to treat JWs, and in the process they have discovered some good ideas to improve blood transfusion treatment.

  But the Red Cross has no definition of "whole blood" unless it is on a battlefield. They take out as much of the white blood cells as possible. Witnesses take out other particles that are NOT dangerous. What's the difference? JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES DO TAKE BLOOD ALL THE TIME. Plus they will not donate blood, and drain the Red Cross' resources. Vampires.

  The really good thing about this you neglected to mention in your sarcasm and attempt to put others down in the typical collective ego of a large, corrupt organization. Does it make you feel powerful?

  • Fred Franz made up the blood doctrine to create persecution in a down time to distract the JWs.
  • Russell and virtually every other student of the Bible does not apply Acts' message on blood to our situation at all. To do so puts Christ back on the Cross according to the apostle Paul. You have negated the entire message of grace in the NT!
  • The organization wil purposely DELAY a court order for transfusion at times so the poor victim will die as a martyr. (Talk to Zen about this from AJWRB.ORG who has had conversations with HLC members)
  • Gene Smalley and Fred Rusk have changed the doctrine around with the help of their attorneys for years, so as to avoid legal responsibility and get thrown in jail.
  • The Watchtower will not DF or DA you for having an emergency blood transfusion, despite their scare tactics.
  • The healing time of taking mere fractions of blood is often greatly increased both in hospital time (up to 2-4 weeks as opposed to outpatient care, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars to care for the patient, sometimes at the taxpayer's expense). If they had taken a blood transfusion, they would be in and out in a day at times.
  • The pickiness of finding the latest legal blood particles as allowed by Gene Smalley was described as so draining on the blood supply that 25,000 Africans could be brought back to health or protected immediately for the cost of treating ONE Jehovah's Witness.
  • You actually believe what the Watchtower tells you is what they really practice. It is not.
  • The organization is bloodguilty for the lives of perhaps tens of thousands of innocent lives on the blood issue alone. Two men at least should be in jail.
  • There will not be an effective substitute for blood available for probably the next 20 years.
  • Jehovah's Witnesses DO take blood transfusions and you can't even face the truth of that. Also HERE.
