it was an inspirational evening at the meeting yesterday evening. there was a nice comments @ congregational bible study (former bookstudy) about listening and obying the slave. "if we are told to go left, we are going left, if we are told to go right, we are going right".
the comment was welcomed by the book study elder of course. gorby had to take his chair preventing falling off it.
They should have stuck to the road that's straight and narrow.
One of my first "red flag" moments was when a CO held up a (red) Live Forever book & said - "brothers , I think this book is red - but if the Society say it is blue , then it is blue. If they say it is green with purple spots - thats what it is & I accept it. Obey & follow the society whatever they say."
Looked around the KH & everyone was nodding sagely.

dozy..... what a bunch of idiots! If someone holds up a red book, its red, and it will always be red, I dont think I can find the right adjective to describe how ridiculous it all is. If I had been there, I would have just walked, how can people listen to that garbage? Oh yes, its a mind controlling cult....
still remember vividly the truth (troof) book illustration of the generation length! lol!
still remember reading (and studying) the revelation book for the 3rd or 4th time and still not understanding it!
I did have a "wakening" moment during the revelation book study though............ seems like every damn revelation prophecy (except 1 as my memory serves right) had a fullfillment in the past, present, and future. (I was like these self glorifying bastards are off their rockers).

It's about fitting in and being ACCEPTED -- - mankind's greatest need, they think. Being rejected kills or feels like it. What a pathetic cult. I hope they're losing so much money but it's the poor they prey on that give and it all adds up --- even a dollar a day is 7 million a day worldwide as they used to spout off. I think we should start publishing educational literature to hand out in poor neighborhoods against these gawd awful cults. Illiterate, underprivileged, poor-class do not have access to protection against these religious cults.
