00DAD - yes, I have a 2010 talk of his on mp3. I'll be releasing some of the funnier parts as a YouTube video in the near future.

    The guy is certifiably insane!

Crazier than Lett? That guy is a complete nutjob. When he gave talks at our DCs they projected his face on a huge video display. I couldn't look at him without laughing at his bizarre mannerisms. He is so condescending, like he's talking to pre-schoolers. It's really insulting.

I look forward to your vid.

00DAD - I know what you mean about Lett. I saw a video of one of his talks. Put it this way - if you could combine Anthony Morris's outrageous comments with Stephen Lett's ridiculous and overly-dramatic facial mannerisms, you would have one very entertaining speaker!!

Cedars, just an idea: what if you added some bullet items to each GB Bio something along the lines of:

    • Education - UNKNOWN/UNAVAILABLE
    • Employment History - UNKNOWN/UNAVAILABLE
    • Military experience - N/A except AM III
    • Marriage(s) - Divorced, Remarred to Sister Golddigger in 199x
    • How they "came into the Truth" - UNKNOWN/UNAVAILABLE
    • Date Baptised - UNKNOWN/UNAVAILABLE
    • Notable talents, skills or accomplishments - UNKNOWN/UNAVAILABLE
    • Any other similar items of interest - UNKNOWN/UNAVAILABLE

The UNKNOWN/UNAVAILABLE comment is completely un-controversial and if questioned by any would-be JW apologists totally unassailable. If they can give DOCUMENTED confirmation the more it benefits us. When they go to look for details and come up empty it might make a few wonder why!

00DAD - lol, probably an entire list where virtually every answer is "unknown/unavailable" might be pushing it a bit too far in terms of "content", but I definitely see what you're getting at.

    I'll give it some thought.

Cedars, not sure if someone caught this, but the link to Ray Franz' book on Scribd you have in your article is not working, at least not for me, I get an error message when clicking.

Or... it could be that it's blocked here at work, but nonetheless, you might want to check it.

    Thanks and great article.

Thanks for flagging that Soldier77 - I've tested it and it works on my computer. To be honest, I've never linked directly through to Crisis of Conscience on Scribd before, so it's a bit experimental. Is anyone else having a problem with that link?

Thanks for looking into it Cedars, but upon further investigation on my end, it is being blocked at work. Sorry for the red-flag.

No worries soldier77, I really appreciate the willingness to raise my attention to that sort of thing, which could potentially have been a problem for the article. Thanks so much.

Cedars, you got it. I wasn't suggesting you put ALL those bullet points in, but maybe a few relevant ones. I also thought you might add:

    • Children: None (I believe this is true for all but AM III)

The point would be to highlight in an indirect, non-controversial and inarguable fashion that this religion is run by a bunch of UNEDUCATED, INEXPERIENCED MEN * that (almost exclusively) HAVE NEVER EVEN HAD CHILDREN and yet they somehow feel "qualified" to issue the most detailed dictum concerning the beliefs and everyday lifestyles and practices of millions of people that unquestioningly follow them because they are under the mistaken illusion that these men were "chosen by God".

A little proof might be nice!

    00DAD

    * Okay, I know. They have "theocratic experience" ... supposedly. When were they baptized? When first appointed as a MS? Elder? But MY POINT IS that almost to a man they have little, if any, practical real world experience. The fact that AMIII was in the military is interesting. But what about the rest of these clowns? Have any of them even ever had a real job?
