Firstly the Bible only bans male homosexuality, it never mentions lesbians.
If we look back at the context of that commentary, the reason why it was banned is obvious. Judah was a small kingdom surrounded by enemies big and small. Because of its size and disadvantage, it needed as much man power as possible. The simple fact is gay men dont do their duty, get married and have l;ots of kids. It doesnt matter if a women is lesbian, because her husband will simply force himself and get her pregnant. This of course explains why the Bible didnt bother to ban lesbianism. It doesnt bother because the opinion and will of women doesnt matter, their husbands will force and ignore their wills.
Xians today continue this tradition, not because they are right or kind but simply out of ignorance and because they continue to deny the true past of their religion. Both judaism and xianity are not religions born out of desire to do good, but have histories of war, violence and evil at their core. The history of judaism is all about their struggles and it is obvious that the religion was used to control the country for the benefit of the kings, preiests and aristocracy. Everything was about protesting their interests. We never hear about carrying for orphans for the simple reason irphans cant read or write, thus they never contributed to the scroptures. The history of xianity is of course much worse. It was spread by thread tne violence, just ask look at the crusades, the christianization of the americas or even europe itself.

Honestly, now that I am no longer a Witness, I don't find any scriptures that "ban" homosexuality, male or female.
