Anyone can be part of Anonymous if they so choose, correct? If so it seems the main Annonymous thrust is against online pedophilia and child porn websites, of which they have already disrupted many.
it seems like perhaps a a few people have used this campaign to make it seem like JWs are in among the main Anonymous agenda, so that, in reality, JWs are not going to be effected by this much at all?

If it was easy it would have been done within a few hours and the unencrypted file made available (or else any goodies inside). The fact that it hasn't should tell you something.
There is no point in joe blogs trying to decrypt that backup file, others more gifted than you have been trying ever since it was obtained. Once it is decrypted it then is probably protected as well so will then need cracking.
Point being, dont waste your time unless you have time to waste or want to learn the difficulty of doing it.
Heck, if you've tried cracking a simple password protected Zip file before you'lll KNOW how hit and miss that excercise can be...
So just wait and let them do it.
