What kind of dogs to you people have, and describe their personalities.

I have two Jack Russell Terriers(JRT) ans one black Pomeranian.

God, the two JRTs are a riot! Dudley and Edgar. Dudley is the older one(5) and is the boss.He is faster and stronger than Edgar. Dudley generally let's Edgar chew on him, but when Dudley gets pissed, he kicks Edgar's ass. Edgar is about a year old and is clumsier than Dudley. Very spunky dogs that love to fight, run, play, hunt, fight run, play, hunt, and then do it all again, then get some rest. I took some new pics that I'll post when I get them back. The JRTs love tug-of-war with each other. When Edgar gets tired of pulling, he'll lay down and Dudley will drag him all over the place. HILARIOUS! ROTFLMAO funny! Dudley is the variety of JRT that is long-legged, and short-haired. Edgar is long-legged and wirey-haired, about 18 pounds each.

The Pomeranian's name is "TAZ" because he constantly spins in a clockwise circle when he's excited like the tasmanian devil cartoon character. He literally spins so fast, that he turns into a whirlwind. The JRT's generally don't mess with Taz because Taz will snap at them with needle teeth ferocity. They do like to tease him occasionally. Taz is sort of a lap dog and LOVES to be groomed. He's small, fluffy, black, and weighs in at about 8 pounds.

I love these dogs, and even though I could kill them sometimes, I'd never give them up.

I have a dog named Samson. He is a Chow golden retriever mix which has given him a very unique look. He has wooley, cinnamon colored hair, green eyes and a pink nose.

He also has to be the sweetest dog in the entire world (I don't care what you guys say about your dogs!). He is extremely docile. When I went to get him from the pound, unlike all the other puppies who lept out of their cages to lick you, he would run to the back of his cage scared to death. When he finally warmed up to me, he became my shadow. When I get home from work, he so excited his whole body wiggles. When the alarm goes off in the morning he leaps onto the bed and lays on me until I scratch him. He ALWAYS has to be on my lap and he never barks or digs. I couldn't have asked for a better dog.

I hate having dog hair everywhere, but I couldn't imagine not having him. He's like my child.

    TR, what a cute dog...
I have an ugly, old mongrel...
black and some tan, a mix of german shepard, black lab and who knows what else...
I love him dearly, adopted him as a 5 weeks old pup. He was going to be abandoned or worse...
He is 11 y.o. and has diabetes since last november, wakes me up every night once or twice, cause he needs to pee all the time, he drinks gallons of water... always hungry, has lost wight...
When he dies, I'd like a small dog, this one is 80 Pounds.

Substitute the word 'children' for the word 'dogs,' and you have the motto of every parent!

My dog is a Maine Coon Cat.

Well, he's part Maine Coon and part something else. And he belongs to my neighbor, but he spends lots of time at my house. Maine Coon cats are big - in his prime, he was about 18 pounds - yes, some fat, but plenty of cat muscle too (kinda like Fred Hall). Maine Coons have "doglike" personalities - they are very socialble and bond stongly to their buddies. My buddy is about 17 years old and is beginning to decline. I don't know if he will be here next year but he will always be remembered. How many cats do you know who enjoy - no kidding - hot sour sooup and chicken curry? He is the alpha cat in our neighborhood - all the others yield to him, simply on the force of his personality.

He won't fetch, and he doesn't hunt. I asked him about that once, and he told me, "I don't live in the circus or in a friggin' tree. Bring me a snack."

I have a pom and a golden retriver. They are spoiled rotten!!!!!! My babies! =;o) I love animals! We live in the country, so I have bird feeders out everywhere and in the summer time, I put out hummingbird feeders. I love to watch those little critters, they're amazing!

My dog is half toy poodle and half miniature shelty. He weighs in at a massive 4 pounds, and has fur that is twice the size of his body. He looks like a tiny South American mountain sheep.

He is still a puppy, so has quite a bit of spunk in him yet. He never hesitates to growl at the 75 pound german shepherd next door. I believe he has a lot of confidence in the fence.
