TR,
We used to have a Jack Russell, his name was spot. Unfortunately he ran away about a year and a half ago. But we saw a very similar looking dog one street over a few months ago on one of our walks. Probably for the best. We weren't ready for a dog when we got him and we didn't take the time to housebreak him, so he ended up in the back yard and was totally ignored.
About a year ago we decided to get another dog, but this time went for a calmer breed. We got a cockapoo. Half cocker spaniel and half poodle. His name is Shadow. He is black with just a hint of white on his chest. And he is the BEST dog....ever!!! We were able to not only housebreak him but also teach him to sit, lay down and roll over. Now we're trying to teach him to sit up and beg for a treat. And for us that is quite an accomplishment. So it must be the dog who is amazing, because we know that we're not that good at training animals.
I like your fluff post, keep up the good work.

TR,
Hey...I have a one year old Jack Russell too! He looks a LOT like Dudley, except he's a bi-color, rather than a tri (no black). His name is Recon. He is a little clown...funny, manipulative, inquisitive and SMART! By the way, does your Jack Russells go nuts over than "Domino's" pizza commercial? You know ding-dong...and then the dogs assume it is YOUR door bell? Maybe he's not so smart after all!
Then...there's Chico (nicknamed "Six")cause...well...he's always on your @ss. He's a two year old black and white Chihuahua. He's incredibly laid back, not at all like the sterotypical yappy little rat.

I love dogs - and have 2 at the moment ( only due to hubby not allowing me to stop at the humaine socisty any more - - go figure! )
The older one, Maggie - adopted up my youngest child - and is her loyal companion. She is a mix of Cocker Spaniel and Shelty - all black with the cocker ears and long flowing tail - has one strip of white from her nose to her belly. She is great - although I do have to admit she is a handful and has in occasion tried to make mud pies with a bag of potting soil, a 25 lb bag of flour and her water dish...
The younger one, Kaya, is a German Shepperd and Collie mix I beleive - her ears are a shepperds and she too is black with white on her belly - she also has brown on her paws. She has a look of "stupid and loving it" on her face at all times - the perfect happy with anything dog! She is more mine than ever - she follows me constantly and is a 40 lb lap dog - she'll leap into your lap if you look at her! She is the Lover of the 2 dogs. We beleive Mags is about 1 and a 1/2 and Kaya is almost 1yr.Both were rescued from the Humaine Society and are wonderful additions to my family - although my hubby calls them " Dumb and Dumber" at times.

I have a Red Merle Australian Sheperd. She is a spayed female from one of the local shelters. Her name is Marble. A GREAT dog. Second Australian Sheperd I have had. The first[a male] died of a stroke at 14 years. I HIGHLY recommend this breed as a faithful loving protecting pet.[I also have two cats; Gordon and Junior]

Hi Kist,
Dudley and Edgar don't pay attention to TV, but Edgar does get disturbed by a picture of a wolf we have!

Shimmer,
JRT's ARE a handful! People get them because they're so cute, then while at work their house gets demolished by an 18 pound dog! Can't leave these pups alone. They demand human attention.
