Also, in addition to my above comment - surely "facts" by their very nature are irrefutable. How, therefore (in the minds of the authors of this website), could any "fact" justifiably differ from the "official view of the Society"??

Sounds like some bias indulgent spin doctoring to make the WTS. look clean as a whistle.

Just about all of those individualized topics can make the WTS look corrupt or at least hypocritical upon analytical examination ..... for example.

namely Fred Franz, a highly indoctrinated insinuation that 6000 years of man's existence could be accurately calculated to October of 1975.

A prodigious lie on all counts but expressed confidently by Franz and Nathan Knorr.

A calculating marketing trick which was actually used by the WTS. previously just before the turn of the century .

There is not one stitch of evidence from the Bible that this supposed time segment would mostly likely be the time when Armageddon would

arrive but nevertheless the WTS. marketed this date relentlessly prior to that year.

A shinning example of the commercialized false prophet/profit of what makes up the WTS.

The whole purpose of the parallel is a timing issue regarding the two global mass slaughters. Why even mention time spans if no comparison is being made? The inference is clear, and WT doctrine needs at least approximate dates to high-octane the fear effect. They're essential . . . who of us weren't controlled by these very specific time frames?

I think most unbiased observers would see a fairly weak application a very narrow "plausible deniability" window. He will generate an unintended negative effect as already mentioned. Bullshit of this calibre is best left to experts, who are probably wise enough to say nothing.

I have read most of these links and can not believe the dismissive attitude he has about the Watchtower Society's dishonesty and flub ups. He is living in his own little world.

Heh, that's more self-incriminating than he probably intended, for if the Society's "facts" differ from those found on his site, then someone's "facts" must be wrong. With that statement, is he actually admitting to being an apostate, relying on not just his own interpretations, but using his own "facts"?
It's like the old saying, "while people are entitled to their own opinions, they're NOT entitled to their own facts". Seems he wouldn't agree with that statement....

Every time the Society is shown to make any type of error of judgement underscores the truth that someone is responsible. If they are correct in their assertion that they are the only true religion guided by God himself, certainly God would not allow them to make so many greivous mistakes. He would have to violate the prime commandment of showing love for one another. If on the other hand, they are just another man made religion, why listen to this crap? I believe more and more within the organization will opt for the latter & leave.

I remain guardedly suspicious of stuff on the web. It looks genuine but who knows for certain that this is a bona fide pro-JW site and is not just a front developed by ex-JWs or others.

I wonder because, among other reasons, isn't the existence of these kinds of pro-JW sites frowned upon by the Watchtower Society?
